This file includes a 34 page research report by local Oviedo resident and community member Laurence Conley MD, FACEP. The report outlines the life and experiences of General George Cummins Thomas, the original owner of the Bible and his role in the Civil War. Dr. Conley has gifted this extensive report to Rollins College Archives in the name of advancing research and knowledge about the Thomas Bible and we are grateful for his scholarly contribution.
