Nehrling Legacy Documents and Correspondence

Box 4 contains 79 folders of documents; either handwritten, typescript or photocopied, that have to do with the Nehrling legacy.  Most of this material is correspondence that has gone on over the years since Nehrling's death.  There are also photocopies of numerous articles detailing Nehrling's history. The ongoing efforts to honor Nehrling as an early pioneer in the Florida history of horticulture will be found throughout this part of the collection.  Rollins College, the Nehrling family, the Henry Nehrling Society, and many others continue to work to preserve a Nehrling legacy.  This part of the Nehrling collection will expand, as necessary, to document these ongoing efforts.
