Notebooks and Notes
Scope and Contents
Seventy-one notebooks and 6 folders. Notebooks, both manufactured and homemade, containing primarily handwritten notes covering Kennedy's travels, literary studies, and research on various subjects. The notebooks are grouped according to Kennedy's series arrangement where it is evident. Titles are those given by Kennedy on the cover or first pages of each notebook, and are indicated in the inventory by bold type. Notes on loose pages and scraps are contained in six file folders. There is little arrangement within the folders. All loose photographs and correspondence have been removed and filed in the photograph and correspondence files.
