The records of Dr. Jack B. Critchfield, 11th president of Rollins College, include general college affairs, correspondence, work with faculty, students, staff, alumni and the Board of Trustees, buildings, his involvement with educational organizations and community service over a decade of his tenureĀ from 1969 to 1978. Jack B. Critchfield (1969-1978), elected president of Rollins from a position at the University of Pittsburgh, moved Rollins in new directions by establishing programs in environmental and interdisciplinary studies, graduate and undergraduate programs in criminal justice, and strengthening support from the business community.
