Majority undated. Eleven folders. Photographs, reprints, photographic postcards, negatives and drawings of William Sloane Kennedy; Walt Whitman, their friends and associates, and their residences, etc. Arranged alphabetically by subject. Where only one or two photos of a subject are found, they have been combined into a single file, and arranged alphabetically within the file. Within a single subject's file, the materials are arranged chronologically where dates are known.

Leon Bazalgette Photographs. Two photos 2.5 x 3.5 in. inscribed "Paris, Oct. 1908." One full-length illustration, 9 x 5.5 in., with inscription to Kennedy dated Oct. 18, 1911. One group photo postcard, 3.5 x 5.5 in., dated Easter 1916 of Bazalgette with "fellow chauffeurs," with message to Kennedy.

Amy Burbank Sketches. Two colored pencil sketches signed A. Burbank, near(?) St. Jean du Doight, Brittany.

John Burroughs Photographs. Seven photographs including portraits and scenes of his residence at "Slabsides," West Park, NY.; ranging in size from 3.5 x 3.5 in. to 8 x 10 in.

Kennedy Portraits. Two copies of a photograph 7 x 10 in., inscribed "at 76 years. Rome, Italy, 1926." One photo postcard of the same portrait, 3.5 x 5.5 in.

Kennedy Residences. One photo postcard, thirteen photographs, and three negatives depicting both interior and exterior views of several residences including "Stonecroft," Belmont, MA (1900); West Yarmouth, Cape Cod, MA (Winter 1926-27); San Diego, CA (1927-28); Orlando, FL (Winter 1929); "Shingleshack," summer bungalow (undated); the Key farm house, Millthorpe, Holmesfield, England (undated). Sizes range from 3 x 4 in. to 4.5 x 6.5 in.

Miscellaneous Photographs. Four photographs from the Lowell Observatory, Flagstaff, AZ, showing maps of Mars for 1903, 5 x 7 in. One photograph of church at Levice, Czechoslovakia from Dr. R. M. Bucke(?), 4 x 5.5 in. One photo postcard of the Hyannis Public Library. 3.5 x 5.5 in

Miscellaneous Portraits. Eleven photographs and post-cards of varying sizes. Included are Annie Besant and Flammarion (1926), Anne Gilchrist, Dr. Richard Maurice Bucke, Edward Carpenter, Charles F. Cutter, Frederic Rowland Marvin, Henry S. Salt (1919), Mill Sanders (1913), Dr. Charles Asbury Stephens, and "a savage of the west" (1928).

Miscellaneous Residences, etc. Four photo postcards and twelve photographs of varying sizes. Sites include "The Millers and Crowell" house, Oak Bluff, MA (Christmas 1925); H. S. Saunders house; Limberlost Cabin, IN; Percy Chase Miller house; Dr. Stephens laboratory, Norway Lake, ME; Douglas Yolk studio, Upper Kezar Lake, ME. Five photos are unidentified.

Warwick Castle Drawings. Three facsimiles drawn in pencil of designs and lettering from Guy's Tower, Warwick Castle. 6 x 6.5 in., 6.5 x 9.5 in., and 5.5 x 12.5in.
