Financial Files, 1906-1983 and Family Files, 1889-1989
Scope and Contents
The third series contains materials relating to other family members. Anne Stanton Burchard seems to have created or collected most of these materials. It therefore includes the letter concerning the Lusitania and Robert Brewster Stanton's exchange of correspondence with the military concerning Edwin's wartime service. Dwight L. Smith's book, Down the Colorado, and his correspondence with Anne on the subject are also held in this series.
This series has information on Elizabeth Cady Stanton, although the only original documents are publications and a letter from Harriet Stanton Blatch concerning Elizabeth's stone in the Rollins College Walk of Fame. The original documents are fragile, so only the photocopies will be served.
Anne's silhouettes are in this series. Both portraits are of her, and the one item of memorabilia is a bookmark with her initials in the metal end.
